Demostrator Berlin-Hohenschönhausen
The logistics hall in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen, where the demosite has been implemented, has a south-facing façade that is ideal for solar power generation and thus, HTK modules. The logistics hall is owned by Garbe, a major German owner of commercial real estate.
In autumn 2021, four installers on two lift trucks installed the 546 solar films on the concrete surface in about two weeks. The installation was officially inaugurated on October 13th by representatives of the LIFE BIPV project partners, project collaborators as well as a representative of the LIFE programme.
